“联盟杯”南湾啦啦队精彩亮相 Cheerleading Team Places 5th in Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Alliance Cup Table Tennis Invitational

On May 25, 2024, the Cheerleading Team of the South Bay Chinese American Association of California USA proudly represented the Roundtable of Southern California Chinese-American Organizations (RCAO) in the opening ceremony competition of the 3rd Alliance Cup Table Tennis Invitational. Among 24 participating teams, they earned an impressive 5th place finish.

Under the leadership of Captain Yan Hong and with the dedicated guidance of instructors Neon, Kaiser, and Lin, the cheerleading team overcame numerous challenges and trained tirelessly. In preparation for the event, RCAO Supervisor Zhao Lin, President Lin Xu, President Bei Ao, President David, and team members gathered for a pre-competition rehearsal. On the day of the event, the cheerleaders marched in with the athletes in a unified and vibrant entrance that ultimately won them a trophy—an achievement that was hard-earned and deeply meaningful.

In addition to the cheerleading success, RCAO also participated in Group B and Group C of the table tennis tournament, securing third place in both categories. Competing among many strong and skilled teams, these excellent results were the fruit of teamwork, commitment, and shared passion for community and sport.

2024年5月25日，美国加州南湾华人协会啦啦队，代表美华联队参加第三届联盟杯乒乓球邀请赛入场式比赛，在24个参赛队中，荣获第五名。燕红队长、霓虹凯色林老师和啦啦队队员们克服困难，辛苦排练，美华联赵林监事长、林旭会长、北奥会长、David 会长和队员一起赛前集中彩排一次，比赛当天组合运动员们一起入场，夺得奖杯，实属不易。本次“联盟杯”乒乓球赛，美华联还参加了B组和C组的乒乓球比赛，双双获得第三名。在强手如林的本次比赛取得如此好成绩，是大家共同努力的结果。
